Tel Azeka is a hill where it is believed the Philistine camp stood when David fought Goliath in the Ela valley. The Jewish camp was on a nearby Har Soha. The hill is at the edge of a recently planted forest which has already grown enough to be a very pleasant place with a lot of flowers.

View to Tel Azeka from the forest

A bunch of wild cyclamenes

An almond tree in blossom

A tree with reddening leaves (it's a terebunth, I assume) - an unusual sight in Israel
